A vibrant ceremony was held in Dammam to mark Pakistan Defense Day, where a large number of men, women, and children from the Pakistani community gathered to pay tribute to the armed forces and martyrs of Pakistan.
The event was organized by the United Cultural Forum and featured enthusiastic participation from all segments of the community. Children not only attended in large numbers but also delivered speeches emphasizing Pakistan’s progress, stability, and the need for national unity to secure the country’s future.
Chief Guest Raja Gulzeb Kayani, Security and Overseas Affairs representative, lauded the spirit of overseas Pakistanis, stating:
“Our community celebrates national days with great passion, and we proudly stand shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan Armed Forces.”
United Cultural Forum President Tanzeer Ahmed, along with Madiha Tanveer, Waqar Ahmed, Sarah Khan, and others, paid rich tribute to the martyrs and veterans of the September War. They congratulated the armed forces of Pakistan on their historic victories and expressed pride in the military’s role in safeguarding the nation.
The evening was further enlivened by performances of patriotic songs from renowned singer Anees-ur-Rehman, while celebrated rubab player Arman Khan captivated the audience with his soulful melodies, earning warm applause from the attendees.
Participants praised the event as a heartfelt expression of solidarity with the armed forces of Pakistan and a reminder of the sacrifices that continue to keep the nation strong and united.
