Islamabad / Riyadh, September 8, 2025 – Pakistani e-ticketing pioneer Bookme has announced a strategic partnership with Resal, Saudi Arabia’s leading digital rewards and loyalty platform, in a move aimed at rapidly scaling its footprint in the Kingdom. The collaboration positions Bookme as the official ticketing technology provider for Resal, enabling millions of users to redeem loyalty points for flights, hotels, entertainment, sports, and cultural experiences.

Bookme, a Pakistani e-ticketing platform, offers online bookings for flights, hotels, movies and events The company entered Saudi Arabia in 2024, aims to generate $20 million annually from expansion in Kingdom

The agreement was signed in Riyadh on September 4, 2025, by Faizan Aslam, founder and CEO of Bookme, and Hatem Kameli, co-founder and CEO of Resal. The integration is expected to go live by the end of October.

“Resal serves some of the Kingdom’s most prominent enterprises, including Saudi Aramco, STC, SAB, and Mobily. Becoming their ticketing technology partner gives us access to an ecosystem of more than 2.5 million users,” said Aslam. “With our existing 450,000 registered users in Saudi Arabia, we expect this collaboration to more than double our base to one million this year.”

Founded in 2013, Bookme has become Pakistan’s largest cashless e-ticketing platform, processing more than 80 million bookings over 11 years. The startup offers online reservations across transport (airlines, buses, trains), hotels, cinemas, and live events, and has built integrations with over 30 banks and super apps in Pakistan.

Bookme entered the Saudi market in 2024 through partnerships with Mrsool and the Saudi Tourism Authority, followed by a direct booking integration with flyadeal earlier this year. The company has set a target of generating $20 million annually from its Saudi expansion.

For Resal, the deal represents a major step toward diversifying its loyalty offerings beyond digital rewards. “Partnering with Bookme allows us to bring our users real-world experiences—from flights and concerts to hotel stays—adding new value for employees, customers, and businesses across the Kingdom,” said Kameli.

The collaboration will also introduce a first-of-its-kind feature in Saudi Arabia: the ability for users to combine loyalty points from multiple programs within Resal’s app, unlocking higher-value redemptions. The integration will be powered by secure APIs and supported by Bookme’s bilingual customer service in Arabic and English.

Bookme says it is also in advanced discussions with several Saudi and Gulf banks to further embed its ticketing solutions into financial ecosystems, with some partnerships currently pending Saudi Central Bank approval.
