Under the esteemed patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Ministry of Culture concluded the fifth edition of the National Cultural Awards with a prestigious closing ceremony held at the King Fahd Cultural Center in Riyadh.
The ceremony celebrated outstanding achievements across the Kingdom’s vibrant cultural sector, honoring distinguished individuals and institutions whose contributions continue to enrich Saudi Arabia’s cultural landscape.
A total of nineteen award categories were presented this year, reflecting the breadth and diversity of Saudi Arabia’s cultural fields. Among the honorees were [Insert Winner Names], who were recognized in categories including Cultural Personality of the Year, Youth Culture Award, International Cultural Excellence Award, Business Leaders in Culture Award, as well as honors for cultural institutions in both profit and non-profit sectors, in addition to the Cultural Media Award.
Sector-specific awards further highlighted excellence in Literature, Publishing, Theater and Performing Arts, Culinary Arts, Architecture and Design Arts, Translation, Fashion, Film, National Heritage, Music, Visual Arts, and Handicrafts.
The fifth edition of the National Cultural Awards commenced in June 2025, with nominations open for one month. Following a rigorous process of screening, evaluation, and judging by specialized committees, the program culminated in this evening’s celebration, which was attended by cultural leaders, writers, and prominent public figures.
The National Cultural Awards stand as a flagship initiative of the Ministry of Culture, aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and the National Strategy for Culture. They underscore the Ministry’s commitment to celebrating creativity and innovation, while honoring contributions that advance cultural knowledge and expression within the Kingdom and on the international stage.
