The Social Relations Committee hosted a grand dinner reception in honor of leading community figures, bringing together a large gathering of representatives from various groups and forums to reflect on the noble life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
The event was presided over by renowned scholar, researcher, and academic personality Professor Dr. Muhammad Moinuddin, while the Guest of Honor was Chaudhry Shafqat Mahmood, President of the Investors Forum. The proceedings were skillfully conducted by Raja Muhammad Riaz, President of the Social Relations Committee.
The program began with a soulful recitation from the Holy Qur’an by Qari Muhammad Asif, followed by a heartwarming Na’at in praise of the Holy Prophet ﷺ by noted Na’at reciter Raza Malik.
Distinguished speakers, including Shahid Naseem, Sardar Muhammad Ashfaq Khan, Ashfaq Badaiyuni, and Engineer Muhammad Afzal Ghazi, expressed their gratitude to Raja Muhammad Riaz for organizing the meaningful event and shared insightful reflections on the Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ (the life and character of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ). They also addressed contemporary issues such as the interest-based financial system, urging the audience to seek solutions in the light of Islamic teachings.
Guest of Honor Chaudhry Shafqat Mahmood highlighted the relevance of Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ in today’s world, emphasizing the need to follow the Prophet’s example in personal and social life. Chairman of the gathering Prof. Dr. Muhammad Moinuddin presented a comparative review of the Prophet’s teachings, inspiring participants to embrace the timeless guidance of the Holy Prophet ﷺ in every aspect of life.
The evening concluded with a moving Na’at by prominent journalist and Na’at Khawan Hafiz Muhammad Irfan Khattana, followed by a heartfelt prayer led by Engineer Arif Mughal. Special supplications were made for the progress of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, as well as for the freedom of Kashmir and Palestine.
