RIYADH, Saudi Arabia – September 29, 2025: The Professional Fighters League (PFL) MENA delivered a thrilling night of mixed martial arts in Riyadh, as the region’s top fighters battled for a place in the 2025 PFL MENA Finals, set for Friday, December 5 in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
In the Main Event, Kuwait’s Mohammad Alaqraa (9-1) needed only 21 seconds to secure a spectacular TKO over Egypt’s Ayman Galal (4-2) and punch his ticket back to the Welterweight Finals. Alaqraa, last season’s Welterweight runner-up, ended the contest with a crushing leg kick and will now face Morocco’s Badreddine Diani (10-3), who earlier earned a split-decision win over Amir Fazli (7-4).
The Co-Main Event saw Iraq’s undefeated rising star Mohammad Fahmi (6-0) dominate Iran’s Mohsen Mohammadseifi (8-3), sealing a first-round rear naked choke submission. Fahmi will now clash with fellow unbeaten contender Salah Eddine Hamli (10-0), who advanced with a third-round arm-triangle choke against Souhil Tairi (8-7).
Saudi Arabia celebrated a breakout performance as hometown favorite Malik Basahel (2-0) delighted fans with a second-round rear naked choke victory over Egypt’s Ahmed Mostafa (3-2).
In Bantamweight action, Egypt’s Islam Youssef (7-2) earned a unanimous decision over Morocco’s Xavier Alaoui (16-7) to set up a Finals showdown with Jordan’s Nawras Abzakh (14-6), who defeated veteran Mokhtar Benkaci (25-10).
The Featherweight bracket saw Egypt’s Islam Reda (14-1) dominate Morocco’s Taha Bendaoud (5-1) to claim a commanding unanimous decision. Reda will meet Yanis Ghemmouri (13-3) in the Finals after Ghemmouri’s composed victory over Izzeddine Al Derbani (15-6).
Adding to the excitement, PFL announced that Saudi trailblazer Hattan Alsaif will make her long-awaited professional debut at the PFL MENA Finals. Alsaif, the first Saudi woman to sign with a major MMA promotion, enters the professional ranks with a perfect 4-0 amateur record—all wins by stoppage.
The PFL MENA Finals on December 5 in Al Khobar will crown new champions in the Bantamweight, Featherweight, Lightweight, and Welterweight divisions, promising another night of world-class MMA action and regional pride.
