Islamabad, Pakistan – Abbottabad’s brilliant student Maryam Ajmal has brought pride to Pakistan with her outstanding academic achievements, setting a shining example for students across the country.

Maryam completed her O Levels from Pakistan International Public School, Abbottabad, and later excelled in her F.Sc (Pre-Medical) from Superior College, Hasilpur, securing 1,038 marks out of 1,100 — an impressive 94.36 percent. Her remarkable performance earned her admission to the Bahria University College of Medicine, Islamabad, where she is currently pursuing her medical studies.
In recognition of her exceptional academic record, Maryam was among a select group of students nationwide to receive a laptop from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif under the “Prime Minister Laptop Scheme 2025.” Receiving the award from the Prime Minister himself was, she said, “a moment of immense pride and joy.”
Speaking about her journey, Maryam credited her teachers for their continuous guidance and encouragement, especially those at Superior College, Hasilpur.
The efforts and motivation of my teachers played a crucial role in my success,” she said.
But if I had to quantify my success, I’d say 99 percent of it belongs to my mother. Her sacrifices, prayers, and unwavering support made this possible. My father’s encouragement has also been a constant source of strength.”
Educationists and social figures have hailed Maryam’s achievement as a symbol of hope and inspiration for Pakistani girls, emphasizing that her story demonstrates how faith, hard work, and perseverance can lead to extraordinary success.
