Riyadh hosted a spectacular edition of Black Hat MEA 2025, a three-day global cybersecurity event that concluded with exceptional success. With over 100,000 attendees, more than 300 speakers, and 500+ global brands, the event reaffirmed its position as the most influential cybersecurity platform across the Middle East and Africa.
This year, Pakistan delivered its strongest and most impactful representation in history. The Pakistan Pavilion drew tremendous international attention, while distinguished experts from Pakistan—alongside global cybersecurity leaders—were specially invited to the main stage. Key among them were Syed Abdul Qadir and Haider Abbas, who spoke on global cyber defense, policy development, and technology innovation.
The Pakistani delegation was led by Syed Abdul Qadir, Haider Abbas, Faiz Ahmed Shuja, and Ahrar Naqvi. The visit was expertly hosted by Adnan Rafique Ahmed, CEO of Smart Irtikaz, supported by his dedicated team including Khurram Mansoor, Arsalan Waris, Rasib Zahid, Ali Aziz, Salman Waris, and Suhail Ahmed. Senior officials from the Embassy of Pakistan and prominent CxOs from Riyadh also graced the event with their participation.

High-level coordination by Abdul Bari Shoaib and International Exhibition Management (IEM) ensured Pakistan’s presence was world-class and truly distinguished.

Delegates from numerous countries visited the Pakistan Pavilion, reaffirming that Pakistan’s cybersecurity talent is rapidly gaining influence across the region. Participants emphasized that Pakistani professionals are emerging as key contributors in cyber defense, research, AI security, and incident response.
