Riyadh (Rana Azeem)
The inauguration ceremony of Sindh Strikers team was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, under the banner of the Capital Premier League, with the participation of local cricket players, sports officials, and a large number of community members.

The event was hosted by Shakeel Ahmed Kiani, while Ms. Tasneem Farooq Rehmani, visiting from the United States, attended as the chief guest.

Speaking on the occasion, Munir Ahmed Shad, Chairman of the Capital Premier League, stated that the league aims to provide a platform for young and talented cricketers, particularly those who could not make it to the Pakistan Super League (PSL). He added that the league is playing a key role in promoting cricket in Saudi Arabia.
He also announced that the ownership of the Sindh Strikers team is being associated with the United States, and Ms. Tasneem Farooq Rehmani will officially take over the team’s responsibilities.

Several prominent figures, including Ghulam Sarwar (President, Pakistan Investors & Business Forum), Ehsan Abbasi (President, PPP Riyadh), Engineer Alam Khan, Kamran Ali Qureshi (President, Pakistani Executive Forum – Saudi Chapter), and Nadeem Babar (CEO, Riyadh Cricket Association), addressed the gathering and assured their full support for the league.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, an MoU was signed between Sindh Strikers and the Capital Premier League, followed by a vote of thanks by Chairman Munir Ahmed Shad.
