A dignified ceremony was organized in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, by Majlis Pakistan in honor of Dr. Hafeez ur Rehman, President of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan. A large number of members from the Pakistani community residing in Riyadh attended the event.
The ceremony was hosted by Rana Abdul Rauf, Syed Saqib Zubair, and Rana Umar Farooq, while Mr. Saed Aziz, Welfare Attaché of the Embassy of Pakistan, participated as a special guest.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Hafeez ur Rehman said that overseas Pakistanis are playing the role of ambassadors of Pakistan across the world and are promoting a positive image of the country. He stated that overseas Pakistanis are the true identity and greatest asset of Pakistan, and their hard work and integrity are commendable.
Dr. Hafeez ur Rehman further shared that Alkhidmat Foundation is taking practical steps to empower youth under the “Alkhidmat Bano Qabil Program.” The aim of this initiative is to equip young people with modern skills and create overseas employment opportunities so they can bring pride to Pakistan.
He added that the role of overseas Pakistanis is not limited to remittances; they are also making significant contributions in welfare, education, and social sectors. Alkhidmat Foundation, with the guidance and suggestions of overseas Pakistanis, is expanding its education, healthcare, and welfare projects across the country.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, participants appreciated the welfare services of Alkhidmat Foundation and expressed their commitment to continue supporting these initiatives in the future.
