Riyadh:
The annual ceremony of Madrasa Tahfeez-ul-Quran Al-Kareem, under the supervision of Halaqat Rasheed bin Jabr, was held in Riyadh with great reverence and dignity to honor 35 Huffaz-e-Kiram. The spiritually uplifting event was attended by parents of the Huffaz, diplomatic officials, scholars, and distinguished members of the Saudi and Pakistani communities.

Representing the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Community Welfare Attaché Najm Nawaz Saqib addressed the gathering on behalf of the Ambassador of Pakistan. In his speech, he stated that the Holy Quran is a complete code of life and a source of guidance, emphasizing that adherence to its teachings ensures success in both this world and the Hereafter. He congratulated the Huffaz, their parents, and appreciated the dedicated efforts of the teachers.

Supervisor of the Madrasa, Sheikh Musa bin Al-Ghamdi, highlighted that such spiritual gatherings strengthen the younger generation’s love for the Quran and reinforce Islamic values. Director of Maktaba Darussalam, Maulana Abdul Malik Mujahid, stated that Quranic education plays a vital role in building the moral foundation of society and that the institution continues to serve this noble mission with dedication.

President of the Halaqat, Qari Muhammad Asad Iqbal, shared that for the past 18 years, the institution has been providing Quran memorization along with Islamic discipline and modern education to children from Pakistan and other countries. He also expressed gratitude to the Saudi leadership for their continuous support in promoting the teaching of the Quran and Sunnah in the Kingdom.

The ceremony was attended by Khalid Akram Rana, Faisal Alvi, Dr. Hafiz Imran, Dr. Owais Salafi, Engineer Salman Rashid, Zahid Sandhu, and Umar Farooq Kailani, among other prominent community members.

The event commenced with a soulful recitation of the Holy Quran by Qari Tanveer-ul-Islam, followed by recitations from students of the Madrasa. Certificates, prizes, and honorary shields were later distributed among the 35 Huffaz.

According to the administration, a total of 267 students have graduated as Huffaz from the institution to date, reflecting its continuous religious services.

The ceremony concluded with collective prayers for the progress of the Muslim Ummah, the prosperity of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, and the bright future of the Huffaz.
