Riyadh-A distinguished Iftar gathering for the Pakistani community was held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, with the aim of promoting unity, brotherhood, and cultural harmony among members of the community. The event was hosted by renowned Pakistani businessman Haji Abdul Wahid, and was attended by prominent personalities from various walks of life.

Officials from the Embassy of Pakistan in Riyadh, along with respected figures from political, social, literary, and religious circles, were present at the event. A large number of members of the Pakistani community also attended. Besides sharing the Iftar meal, participants engaged in discussions on strengthening community ties and highlighting the role of overseas Pakistanis.

During the gathering, Khalid Akram Rana, Zahid Sandhu, Zahid Butt, Imad, Shirazi, and Dr. Khawaja Taqi, along with other attendees, praised Haji Abdul Wahid for his admirable personality and professional abilities.

They stated that in a short period he has achieved a prominent position in Saudi Arabia through his business acumen, dedication, and hard work.

They further noted that through his integrity and professional commitment, Haji Abdul Wahid has not only successfully established his business but has also set a positive example for the Pakistani community abroad.

The participants described Haji Abdul Wahid as the “Pride of Pakistan,” stating that Pakistani businessmen living abroad play an important role in promoting a positive image of Pakistan internationally. They emphasized that such gatherings strengthen unity, friendship, and harmony within the community and convey a strong message to the younger generation.

The event concluded in a warm and pleasant atmosphere, with participants expressing hope that similar community activities will continue to be organized in the future.
