President of the Muslim Conference Saudi Arabia and former Chairman of the Jammu & Kashmir Community Overseas, Sardar Muhammad Ashfaq Khan, hosted a special dinner in honor of Chaudhry Allah Ditta Warraich, a distinguished social figure and educationist from Gujrat, on the occasion of his blessed journey of performing Umrah.
The event was graced by the prominent Kashmiri leader, Ms. Nabeela Ayub Advocate, Minister for Law & Justice, Special Assistant to the Government of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Member of the Legislative Assembly, and Central President of PPP AJK Women’s Wing, who is currently visiting Saudi Arabia for Umrah.
A large number of prominent members of the Pakistani and Kashmiri community in Saudi Arabia attended the gathering. The evening was moderated by Sardar Waqas Inayatullah, former Chairman of the Jammu & Kashmir Community Overseas.
In his welcome address, Sardar Ashfaq Khan congratulated the guests on the blessing of Umrah and paid rich tribute to their social and educational services.
Speakers at the event included Chaudhry Akram Gujjar (President, PML-N Saudi Arabia), Chaudhry Shafqat Mahmood (President, Pakistan Investors Forum), Arif Mughal (Chairman, Jammu & Kashmir Community Overseas), Chaudhry Shehbaz Hussain (former Federal Minister), and Inayatullah Khan (former Advisor to the President of Azad Kashmir). They congratulated the guests on the sacred pilgrimage and praised their community services while also highlighting the Kashmir issue and Indian atrocities.
In her speech, Minister Nabeela Ayub Advocate emphasized that “Pakistan is our homeland, and we are Pakistanis.” She strongly condemned India’s water aggression and human rights violations in occupied Kashmir, while reaffirming support for the Kashmiri people’s struggle for freedom.
The guest of honor, Chaudhry Allah Ditta Warraich, stressed the importance of unity within the overseas community and paid tribute to the sacrifices of the Kashmiri people in their freedom struggle.
The ceremony concluded with special prayers for the progress of Pakistan, the freedom of Kashmir, and for the martyrs of Kashmir and flood victims.
