Riyadh -Rana Azeem – Saudi Arabia is set to make history as it hosts WWE’s flagship event, WrestleMania 43, in Riyadh as part of the Riyadh Season 2027 festivities. This landmark occasion will mark the first time WrestleMania has been staged outside North America since its inception in 1985.
Announcing the historic milestone, Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), pledged to elevate WrestleMania to “unprecedented heights” and deliver a global spectacle befitting the Kingdom’s vision for world-class entertainment.
WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque hailed Saudi Arabia as a phenomenal partner, praising the Kingdom’s role in bringing blockbuster WWE events such as Crown Jewel, Elimination Chamber, and King & Queen of the Ring to Riyadh in recent years.
Since WWE’s debut in the Kingdom in 2018, Saudi Arabia has rapidly emerged as a global hub for professional wrestling, with sell-out crowds and increasing international attention. Hosting WrestleMania further cements its position as a major player in the global sports and entertainment landscape.
Before Riyadh takes center stage in 2027, WrestleMania 42 will return to Las Vegas in April 2026, setting the stage for an even bigger and historic WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia the following year.
