On the occasion of Saudi Arabia’s 95th National Day, Pakistani journalists based in Jeddah organized a graceful ceremony to express solidarity and brotherhood with the Saudi people. To mark the celebration, a cake-cutting ceremony was held, and participants raised slogans of “Long Live Pakistan–Saudi Friendship.”
The event was jointly arranged by the Pak Media Journalists Forum and the Pakistan Journalists Forum, bringing together senior journalists, media representatives, and office bearers. Prominent attendees included Ch. Noor-ul-Hasan Gujar, Jameel Rathore, Khalid Nawaz Cheema, Hafiz Irfan Khattana, Asad Akram, Hassan Butt, Ch. Maroof Hussain, Saqib Ehsan Mufil, Ayesha Naz, Maryam Shahid, and several other well-known journalists.
Speakers at the ceremony highlighted the time-tested bond between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, describing their friendship as “higher than the Himalayas and deeper than the oceans.” They welcomed the recent defense agreement between the two brotherly nations as a symbol of their ever-growing cooperation and extended heartfelt congratulations to the Saudi people on their National Day.
The journalists also expressed special gratitude to King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, acknowledging their visionary leadership and continuous support in providing respectable employment opportunities to thousands of Pakistanis in the Kingdom.
The ceremony concluded with special prayers for the peace, prosperity, and stability of both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, reaffirming the unshakable friendship between the two nations.
