Riyadh (Rana Azeem) — Majlis-e-Pakistan hosted a grand dinner in honor of the renowned religious and political leader Dr. Fareed Ahmed Paracha. The event was conducted by Hafiz Mahmood Arshad, while Rana Abdur Rauf, President of Majlis-e-Pakistan, warmly welcomed the chief guest and attendees.
The gathering was attended by distinguished religious, social, and political personalities, including Maulana Abdul Malik Mujahid, Rana Khalid Akram, Qazi Ishaq Memon, Ahsan Abbasi, Prof. Muhammad Rafiq, Makhdoom Ameen Tajir, Qari Abdali, Umar Farooq Kailani, and Inam Khan.
In his address, Dr. Fareed Ahmed Paracha stated that Pakistan is an ideological state founded on Islam, and emphasized that it is the responsibility of every Pakistani to contribute to building it into a true Islamic welfare state. He highlighted the role of overseas Pakistanis, describing them as ambassadors of the nation’s identity and strength through their hard work, integrity, and unity.
The event was also attended by Vice President Rana Sarfraz, General Secretary Rana Umar Farooq, Youth Forum President Muhammad Ibrahim Jutt, and Tauseef Ahmed, among other office bearers of Majlis-e-Pakistan.
Dr. Paracha welcomed the Pakistan-Saudi defense agreement, calling it a significant milestone in bilateral relations that will further strengthen cooperation between the two nations. He appreciated the efforts of Majlis-e-Pakistan for fostering unity among various political groups and promoting national awareness among overseas Pakistanis.
He urged that Pakistanis must rise above political, sectarian, and regional divisions to work collectively for the nation’s progress and prosperity.
At the conclusion, Rana Abdur Rauf thanked all the distinguished guests. The evening ended with a formal dinner and a special prayer for Pakistan’s stability and development.
