Riyadh – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar stated that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia share deep-rooted relations that span decades, built on mutual trust, respect, and brotherhood.

He emphasized that the two countries have now entered a new era of partnership, marked by strengthened economic, defense, and social cooperation.

Referring to the Pakistan–Saudi Defense Agreement, he described it as “a testament to the enduring and deep friendship between the two brotherly nations.”

“We take pride in being the protectors of the Two Holy Mosques,” said Ishaq Dar. “Our relationship with Saudi Arabia is one of faith, fraternity, and shared purpose.”

During his official visit to the Kingdom, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar visited the Embassy of Pakistan in Riyadh, where he was warmly received by Ambassador Ahmad Farooq. The Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf Al-Maliki, was also present on the occasion.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar inaugurated the newly upgraded Consular Hall and Passport Section, and reviewed the facilities being provided to community members.

Addressing Pakistani expatriates, he lauded their contributions, saying: “Our overseas workers are the backbone of our economy. Their dedication and remittances are vital to Pakistan’s progress.”

He reaffirmed that Pakistan is moving towards a new era of development and prosperity, and that the government remains fully committed to public welfare and national progress.
