Riyadh: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is fully prepared to host the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games – Riyadh 2025, marking another significant milestone in the nation’s journey toward global sporting excellence.

In a welcome message, His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal, President of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Association (ISSA), expressed pride in welcoming athletes and media representatives from across the Islamic world to Riyadh — their “second home.”
Prince Abdulaziz emphasized the vital role of media coverage in highlighting the spirit, values, and importance of the Games. He affirmed the Organising Committee’s commitment to providing all necessary facilities and services to ensure smooth, efficient, and professional reporting throughout the championship.
The Games will bring together over 3,500 athletes from 57 Islamic countries, competing across 25 sports. The event is being organized to the highest standards of professionalism, innovation, and sustainability, reflecting the ambitions of Saudi Vision 2030 — particularly in supporting sports participation and driving social and economic development.
Prince Abdulaziz noted that Riyadh 2025 aims to build a lasting legacy through state-of-the-art venues and world-class sporting events, symbolizing unity, excellence, and friendship among Islamic nations.
“We are passionately preparing to deliver an event worthy of the Islamic world — a celebration of unity, excellence, and friendship,” he said. “We look forward to welcoming everyone to Riyadh, the beating heart of the Kingdom, to witness history in the making and to share unforgettable sporting memories together.”
The Riyadh 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games are expected to unite countries, cultures, and athletes under one banner — strengthening bonds of brotherhood and showcasing the Kingdom’s rising role in international sports.
