The Saudi Elite Chefs Competition 2025 officially launched today at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, organized by the Culinary Arts Commission from 15 to 17 December, as part of HORECA Riyadh.
The competition brings together leading Saudi professional chefs and aims to highlight their skills while strengthening the presence of Saudi cuisine locally and internationally. The contest focuses on creativity and innovation, with an emphasis on sustainability and the use of local ingredients.
The competition reflects the Culinary Arts Commission’s efforts to promote Saudi food identity through modern approaches that reduce food waste and align with global culinary trends.
Participants compete in one of two main categories: Savory Dishes or Desserts, ensuring specialization and high professional standards.
Awards include priority participation in the Bocuse d’Or, priority qualification for the Pastry World Cup, official medals, chef jackets, access to prestigious culinary events, professional networking opportunities, and participation certificates.
The competition supports the development of the culinary sector in Saudi Arabia and aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 goals to build a sustainable creative economy.
