His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Riyadh Region, patronized the official inauguration ceremony of Six Flags Qiddiya City, marking a major milestone in the Kingdom’s entertainment sector.

Upon his arrival, the Royal Anthem was played, after which HRH officially announced the opening, stating:
“In the name of Allah and with His blessings, I am pleased to announce the opening of Six Flags Qiddiya City, the first tangible achievement of Qiddiya City. I wish continued success to Qiddiya Investment Company and everyone involved in this landmark project.”

The ceremony featured world-class live performances combining storytelling, innovative technologies, and live music, reflecting Qiddiya City’s identity built around the concept of the “Power of Play.”

Attendees also enjoyed spectacular fireworks, drone shows, and immersive visual effects, followed by international music performances, including a live appearance by global artist Alicia Keys, and contemporary performances by DJ Cosmicat.

During the ceremony, Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Dawood, Managing Director of Qiddiya Investment Company, highlighted that the opening of Six Flags Qiddiya City represents a major leap toward realizing the leadership’s vision, positioning Qiddiya as the world’s first city built entirely around entertainment and play.

The event concluded with HRH Prince Faisal bin Bandar touring the park’s attractions. Six Flags Qiddiya City is the first theme park within Qiddiya’s entertainment portfolio, featuring record-breaking rides and immersive, technology-driven experiences.

The opening underscores the Kingdom’s rapid progress in developing the entertainment sector and strengthening its position as a global destination for mega entertainment projects, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
