Riyadh:-Overseas Construction Company organized a prestigious introductory ceremony in Riyadh to honor Pakistani journalists residing in Saudi Arabia. The event aimed to acknowledge the professional services of the media community, strengthen relations with journalists, and brief them about upcoming social, welfare, and community initiatives planned for the years 2025 and 2026.

The ceremony was hosted by the CEO of Overseas Construction Company, Mr. Rana Abdul Rauf. Prominent attendees included Patron-in-Chief of Majlis Pakistan Syed Saqib Zubair, General Secretary Rana Umar Farooq, Vice President Rana Sarfraz, and Business Forum General Secretary Zafar Javed. The Youth Forum was represented by President Ibrahim Jatt and General Secretary Tauseef Ahmed.

Addressing the gathering, Syed Saqib Zubair stated that Pakistani journalists in Riyadh play a vital role in projecting the voice of the community globally and strengthening bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. He emphasized that journalism is not merely a profession but a responsibility and trust.
President Majlis Pakistan Rana Abdul Rauf appreciated the dedication of Pakistani media professionals in highlighting community issues and positive activities with integrity. He said media plays a crucial role in building awareness and shaping a positive narrative.

General Secretary Rana Umar Farooq remarked that media serves as the eyes and voice of society, and journalists play an unforgettable role in highlighting the issues of the overseas Pakistani community.
A large number of prominent Pakistani journalists attended the event, including Idris Ahmed Ganja, Kamran Ashraf, Rana Azeem, Haseeb Gondal, Imran Awan, Waqar Naseem Wamiq, Ajmal Minhas, Kamran Hassani, Waseem Khan, Shehryar Nifasat, Jahanzeb Amjad, Raja Naveed Kashmiri, and Malik Irfan.
The ceremony concluded with a renewed commitment to promote positive journalism, community welfare, and a brighter image of Pakistan. The event ended in a warm and cordial atmosphere.
