Lahore hosted one of the largest global events in the fields of technology and cybersecurity, the Global CISO Summit, bringing together leading cybersecurity and IT experts from Pakistan and across the world.

The summit featured in-depth discussions on modern technology, cybersecurity challenges, and the digital future. The primary objective of the event was to strengthen Pakistan’s digital ecosystem and introduce global best practices at the local level.

Key speakers at the summit included Dr. Erdal Ozkaya, President of the Global CISO Forum; Syed Abdul Qadir, Executive Director at A.F. Ferguson & Co. (PwC Pakistan); Adnan Rafiq Ahmed, Founder of VCEO from Saudi Arabia; and Faisal Khan, Head of Information Security and Compliance at Dubai World Trade Centre.
Speakers emphasized that the Global CISO Summit is not merely an awards ceremony, but a significant international platform where local and global experts exchange views on cybersecurity challenges and practical solutions.

Dr. Erdal Ozkaya, President of the Global CISO Forum representing professionals from over 50 countries, specially traveled from the United States to Pakistan to lead the summit in Lahore. More than 500 technology and security leaders participated in the event.

The summit also saw the participation of over 100 overseas Pakistani professionals and senior executives, who expressed their commitment to collaborating with national leadership to advance Pakistan’s IT and cybersecurity sectors. Delegations from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, Canada, Qatar, and other countries were also present.

Organizers stated that the Global CISO Summit will play a vital role in positioning Pakistan as a strong global technology hub and will create new opportunities for youth, institutions, and the industry.
