Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, has stated that all arrangements for Hajj 2026 have been finalized. He announced that the first flight of Pakistani pilgrims will arrive in Saudi Arabia on April 18.

The Federal Minister arrived in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, where he was warmly received by Sheikh Saeed Ahmed, along with Mahmood-ul-Haq Dogar, Adnan Iqbal Butt, and other officials and workers of the Pakistan Muslim League (N).

Speaking on the occasion, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf said that the arrival of Pakistani pilgrims in Saudi Arabia will begin from April 18. He highlighted that, in collaboration with the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, excellent arrangements have been made this year for accommodation, food, and transportation for Pakistani pilgrims in Mecca and Medina.

For the first time, more than 25,000 Pakistani pilgrims will also benefit from the high-speed Haramain High Speed Railway, enabling fast travel between Mecca and Medina.

Additionally, during the days of Hajj, enhanced facilities will be provided in the sacred sites of Mina, Muzdalifah, and Arafat.

The Minister further stated that, in light of the current regional situation, the Hajj operation will be successfully completed through close coordination with the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. He also assured that even if fuel prices increase, no additional financial burden will be passed on to the pilgrims.
