The Embassy of Pakistan in Jakarta commemorated the first anniversary of “Marka-e-Haq” in a dignified and solemn manner. The event was attended by members of the Pakistani diaspora, media representatives, distinguished guests, and Indonesian nationals, reflecting a strong sense of unity and solidarity.
During the ceremony, messages from the President of Pakistan and the Prime Minister of Pakistan were read out, paying tribute to the sacrifices rendered for the nation and reaffirming Pakistan’s steadfast commitment to peace, sovereignty, and national resilience.
In his remarks, the Defence Attaché highlighted the valor, professionalism, and unwavering resolve of the Armed Forces of Pakistan, as well as the resilience and patriotism of the people of Pakistan. He paid rich tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in defense of the motherland and reaffirmed Pakistan’s firm commitment to safeguarding its sovereignty and territorial integrity against any unprovoked aggression.
Deputy Head of Mission Mr. Roshan Lal underscored Pakistan’s consistent commitment to regional peace and stability. He noted that Pakistan has always played a constructive role in promoting dialogue and diplomacy, including efforts aimed at reducing tensions and supporting peaceful engagement during the recent US-Iran crisis.
He further reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering moral, political, and diplomatic support for the right to self-determination of the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, emphasizing that lasting peace and stability in South Asia cannot be achieved without a just resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in accordance with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people and relevant UN Security Council resolutions.
The Deputy Head of Mission emphasized that the commemoration of the anniversary of “Marka-e-Haq” is not merely about remembering the past, but also about shaping a stronger, more united, and prosperous future for Pakistan. He appreciated the positive contributions of the Pakistani community in Indonesia toward further strengthening the longstanding friendship and bilateral relations.
