Cairo, : Pakistan’s Ambassador to Egypt, H.E. Aamir Shouket, met with H.E. Dr. Gohar Nabil, Egypt’s Minister of Youth and Sports, to present the Pakistan-made official match ball “Trionda” and discuss ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of sports.

During the meeting, Ambassador Shouket presented the Pakistan-manufactured official match ball “Trionda”, produced for the FIFA World Cup, to the Minister as a symbol of friendship and goodwill towards the Egyptian national football team ahead of its World Cup campaign. He conveyed the best wishes of the Government and people of Pakistan for the team’s success and expressed confidence in Egypt’s ability to deliver an outstanding performance on the world stage.

Both sides discussed enhancing sports diplomacy and explored new opportunities for collaboration in sports development through the exchange of expertise, technical knowledge, training programs, and institutional partnerships between Pakistan and Egypt.
Ambassador Shouket reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Egypt by expanding people-to-people contacts and sports cooperation, emphasizing that sports serve as an effective platform for promoting friendship, mutual understanding, and closer ties between the two nations.
