Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: The Pakistani Executive Forum (PEF) successfully hosted its 7th Business Networking Meetup in Riyadh. The event was graced by Dr. Shagufta Zareen, Minister Trade & Investment at the Embassy of Pakistan, as the Guest of Honor. Prominent businessman Mian Munir Hans attended from Dubai, while a large number of Pakistani business leaders, CEOs, investors, entrepreneurs, and community representatives from Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, and Dubai participated in the event.

The highlight of the gathering was the signing of a historic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) among the Pakistani Executive Forum (PEF), Pakistan Investment Forum, and other Pakistani business and investor forums operating in Saudi Arabia. Through this agreement, the participating organizations pledged to work together on a unified platform to promote investment in Pakistan, strengthen business collaboration, create employment opportunities, boost exports, and contribute to Pakistan’s sustainable economic growth.

PEF Chairman Munir Ahmed Shad stated that the Forum has established chapters in 20 countries and is committed to connecting Pakistani business communities worldwide through a strong global network to encourage investment, joint ventures, employment generation, and increased remittances.


Dr. Shagufta Zareen, Minister Trade & Investment conveyed the message of the Ambassador of Pakistan, emphasizing that all Pakistani business and investor forums in Saudi Arabia should work together under one platform to support Pakistan’s economic development and investment initiatives. She described the MoU as a significant step toward achieving long-term economic benefits for Pakistan.

Business leader Mian Munir Hans highlighted the invaluable role of overseas Pakistanis, stating that greater unity among business forums and investors would unlock new opportunities for investment, employment, and economic prosperity.

During the ceremony, renowned Saudi-based social personality Qazi Ishaq Memon, popularly known as “Baba Riyadh,” honored PEF Chairman Munir Ahmed Shad by presenting him with the traditional Sindhi Ajrak in recognition of his outstanding leadership and services.

The event was professionally hosted by Shakeel Ahmed Kiani. Distinguished attendees included Shafqat Mahmood, Waqas Murtaza, Rashid Mahmood, Adnan Rafiq, Ghulam Safdar, Ghulam Mustafa, and several prominent members of the Pakistani business community.

The event concluded with the presentation of commemorative shields to distinguished guests and contributors.
