Riyadh: Prominent Pakistani businessman and Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) Saudi Arabia Vice President, Zahid Sandhu , hosted a distinguished reception in Riyadh to honor Mirza Altaf , Overseas Coordinator of Pakistan Muslim League-N, who is currently visiting Saudi Arabia from Pakistan.
The event was attended by a large number of Pakistani business leaders, community representatives, and office-bearers of PML-N Saudi Arabia, reflecting the strong engagement of the Pakistani diaspora in strengthening community ties and promoting Pakistan’s interests abroad.
During the gathering, participants discussed the longstanding brotherly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, bilateral trade, investment opportunities, and the vital role of overseas Pakistanis in contributing to Pakistan’s economic growth and global image. Speakers emphasized that the Pakistani diaspora can play a significant role in expanding economic cooperation and attracting investment between the two brotherly nations.

Addressing the audience, Mirza Altaf paid tribute to the invaluable contributions of overseas Pakistanis, stating that Pakistanis living abroad not only strengthen the national economy through their contributions but also serve as ambassadors of Pakistan’s positive image across the world. He added that strengthening engagement with overseas Pakistanis and the business community remains among the government’s key priorities.
The ceremony was also addressed by Khalid Ikram Rana , Senior Vice President of PML-N Saudi Arabia, Rana Ashraf, Mian Imran, Arshad Mahmood Bhatti, Raja Sajjad, Hafiz Khalid Tahir, Chaudhry Khadim Bajar, and Zarar Baloch . The speakers highlighted the historic Pakistan–Saudi Arabia relationship, the importance of promoting bilateral trade and investment, addressing issues faced by overseas Pakistanis, and fostering unity within the Pakistani community.
Concluding the event, host Zahid Sandhu thanked all distinguished guests for their participation and reaffirmed his commitment to organizing similar initiatives in the future to further strengthen cooperation among the Pakistani community, the business sector, and the longstanding friendship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
