Riyadh, September: On behalf of the Governor of Riyadh Region, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Mayor of Riyadh Region Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf attended a reception hosted by the Embassy of Malaysia in Riyadh to celebrate Malaysia’s 69th National Day, Malaysia Day, and Malaysian Armed Forces Day 2026.
The reception, held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Riyadh, brought together ambassadors, members of the diplomatic corps, embassy officials and distinguished guests from Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Pakistan and other countries.
Upon his arrival, Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf was received by Ambassador of Malaysia to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Syed Mohamad Bakri Syed Abdul Rahman, along with several embassy officials.
The celebration featured a warm and festive atmosphere, highlighting Malaysia’s national identity, cultural heritage and strong relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the international diplomatic community.
The ceremony also included the cutting of a commemorative cake to mark Malaysia’s National Day, Malaysia Day and Armed Forces Day, adding to the spirit of friendship and celebration among the participating diplomats and guests.
The event reflected the longstanding diplomatic ties and friendly relations between Malaysia and Saudi Arabia, as well as the close cooperation and mutual respect shared among the diplomatic community.
