Saudi Arabia-The Al Tamimi Group of Companies, together with the distinguished Al Tamimi family and senior executive management, hosted a grand dinner reception in honor of Sardar Muhammad Ilyas Khan President of the Group, celebrating an extraordinary milestone of 50 years of unwavering dedication, exemplary leadership and outstanding service to the Group and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The prestigious gathering was led by Group Chairman Sheikh Tariq Al Tamimi, alongside Mr. Fahad Al Tamimi, Mr. Fawaz Al Tamimi, senior members of the Al Tamimi family and the Group’s executive leadership.
Over five remarkable decades, Sardar Muhammad Ilyas Khan has played an instrumental role in transforming Al Tamimi from a modest operation of just six vehicles into a multibillion-dollar conglomerate comprising nine diversified divisions and employing over 35,000 people.
His contribution extends far beyond corporate success. Today, the Group employs over 13,000 Pakistanis, whose remittances contribute more than PKR 12 billion annually to Pakistan’s economy, further strengthening the longstanding economic ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Recognized for his outstanding services, Sardar Muhammad Ilyas Khan has been awarded the Sitara-e-Pakistan and has also been nominated for the prestigious Hilal-e-Imtiaz by the Government of Pakistan.
