A new bakery, “Rivaaj Sweets & Bakers,” has officially opened in Riyadh, aiming to promote Pakistani culture and traditional desserts. The inauguration was carried out by Community Welfare Attaché Sayed Aziz and Jannat Hussain Nekokara.

The event was attended by members of the Pakistani community, business figures, and individuals from various walks of life, who appreciated the initiative.

The bakery offers a wide range of items including traditional Pakistani sweets, pastries, cakes, sandwiches, rolls, and dahi bhallay, attracting strong customer interest.

Community Welfare Attaché Sayed Aziz stated that such items are an important part of Pakistani culture and that Pakistani sweets are gaining popularity worldwide, including among Saudis. He specifically praised the gulab jamun for its unique and delicious taste.

Jannat Hussain Nekokara highlighted that such initiatives promote a positive image of Pakistan and support overseas Pakistani businesses.

The owner, Abdullah, said that demand for Pakistani sweets—especially gulab jamun—is rapidly increasing in Saudi Arabia. He added that their goal is not only to provide high-quality sweets but also to introduce Pakistani culture globally.
