Riyadh, The intense police crime drama series “Hafra Jahannam”, an original production of MBC Shahid , held its special screening in Riyadh, attended by prominent figures from the media and entertainment industry.
The series features a strong ensemble cast including Khaled Yasslam, Moayad Althaqafi, Khayria Abu Laban, Fatima AlBanawi, Majed Alkaabi, Qusai Kheder, Nizar Al Suleimani, Abdulrahman Al-Daqal, and Salma Al Balushi, and is directed by Ahmed Aksas.
Set in pre-2015 Jeddah, the story unfolds against the backdrop of informal settlements where crime, drugs, and social issues were at their peak. The narrative follows two investigators—Major Majed, a seasoned criminal investigator, and Ali, a young narcotics officer—who uncover a dangerous criminal network while investigating a mysterious murder case.
“Hafra Jahannam” blends crime, action, and emotional drama, highlighting the conflict between personal struggles and professional duty. The series reflects a period when informal settlements were considered crime hubs before undergoing major transformation through government-led initiatives.
