Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – August 3, 2026: Riyadh Air, Saudi Arabia’s new national carrier, has announced the expansion of its global network across Asia with the launch of new services to Islamabad, Lahore, and Manila. Ticket sales are now officially open, with inaugural flights to Islamabad beginning on August 14, 2026, Lahore on August 18, 2026, and Manila on September 9, 2026.

The airline stated that these new routes form an important part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy to position Riyadh as a leading global aviation hub while strengthening international connectivity.
Strengthening Air Connectivity Between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan
According to Riyadh Air, the launch of services to Islamabad and Lahore reflects the strong cultural, religious, and economic ties between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. The new routes are designed to serve business travelers, tourists, families, workers, and the large Pakistani expatriate community living in the Kingdom.
The services will also provide passengers from Pakistan with seamless onward connections through Riyadh to destinations across the Middle East and Europe.
Daily Service to Manila
Riyadh Air has also announced daily flights to Manila, further enhancing connectivity between Saudi Arabia and the Philippines. The airline noted that growing commercial, educational, tourism, and workforce relations between the two countries have created increasing demand for direct air services.
Passengers travelling from Manila will enjoy convenient access to Riyadh’s modern business districts, cultural attractions, and entertainment destinations, while Riyadh will serve as a gateway to regional and European destinations.
Flight Operations
Riyadh Air will operate seven weekly flights to Islamabad:

Four weekly flights on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
Three weekly flights on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday

Flights to Lahore will operate three times a week (Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday), while daily flights will connect Riyadh and Manila.
All services will be operated using Riyadh Air’s state-of-the-art Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, offering passengers advanced cabin interiors, premium comfort, modern inflight entertainment, high-speed connectivity, and world-class onboard services.
