RIYADH: The Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of Djibouti, H.E. Dya-Eddine Bamakhrama, hosted a farewell reception in honour of the Ambassador of Ethiopia to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, H.E. Dr. Muktar Kedir Abdu, on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic tenure in the Kingdom.
The reception was attended by ambassadors, heads of diplomatic missions, members of the diplomatic community, colleagues and friends, who gathered to bid farewell to H.E. Dr. Muktar Kedir Abdu and acknowledge his diplomatic efforts and contributions.
During the reception, appreciation was expressed for his role in strengthening Ethiopia–Saudi Arabia relations and promoting cooperation across political, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields.
In his farewell remarks, H.E. Dr. Muktar Kedir Abdu expressed his sincere appreciation to Ambassador Dya-Eddine Bamakhrama for his leadership, friendship and support. He also thanked the diplomatic community and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for their cooperation, hospitality and support throughout his tenure.
