RIYADH: Chairman of the Board of Governors of theed Qamar Raza Shah, will arrive in Saudi Arabia on October 12 at the special invitation of prominent Pakistani business and community figures Chaudhry Muhammad Afzal Bashir Cheema and Tauseef-ur-Rehman Goraya.
According to sources, Syed Qamar Raza Shah will receive a warm welcome in Riyadh upon his arrival on October 12. Chaudhry Muhammad Afzal Bashir Cheema, Tauseef-ur-Rehman Goraya and other representatives of the Pakistani community will be present to welcome him. A large number of prominent members and representatives of the Pakistani community are also expected to attend.
During his visit to Saudi Arabia, Syed Qamar Raza Shah will meet with representatives of the Pakistani community, business and social figures, and community leaders residing in the Kingdom. The meetings are expected to cover issues and challenges faced by overseas Pakistanis, community welfare and possible solutions to various concerns.
According to sources, following his engagements in Riyadh, Syed Qamar Raza Shah is also expected to visit Jeddah, Dammam and Madinah, where he will meet prominent members and representatives of the Pakistani community. Discussions are expected to focus on community concerns and various matters related to overseas Pakistanis.
During his visit, Syed Qamar Raza Shah is also expected to perform Umrah, in addition to meeting representatives of various Pakistani community organizations and prominent community figures.
Community circles have described Syed Qamar Raza Shah’s visit as an important step toward further strengthening and enhancing coordination between the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation and the Pakistani community in Saudi Arabia.
Members of the Pakistani community have welcomed Syed Qamar Raza Shah’s visit and expressed hope that his meetings will help convey the issues, concerns and key suggestions of overseas Pakistanis to the relevant forums in an effective manner.
