Islamabad – 09-September 2025 – Bahrain’s Interior Minister, Lieutenant General Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, has arrived in Pakistan on a three-day official visit at the invitation of his Pakistani counterpart, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.

Upon arrival in Islamabad on Tuesday, the distinguished guest was warmly received by Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry, while a smartly turned-out contingent of Islamabad Police presented a guard of honor.

During his visit, the Bahraini Interior Minister paid his respects at the Pakistan Monument and the Martyrs’ Memorial, where he laid floral wreaths and offered prayers.

According to the Interior Ministry spokesperson, Lieutenant General Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa will hold high-level meetings with Pakistan’s top leadership during his stay. The visit aims to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in key areas including counter-terrorism, anti-narcotics, combating human trafficking, and security collaboration.

This visit underscores the deep-rooted and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Bahrain, built on mutual trust, shared values, and a commitment to regional peace and stability.
