JEDDAH:The Overseas Pakistani community residing in Saudi Arabia has warmly welcomed the defence cooperation agreement between Saudi Arabia and Türkiye, describing it as a historic and significant development.
The Pakistani community termed the agreement an important step towards promoting unity, cooperation, and solidarity among the Muslim world, while expressing hope that it would contribute to strengthening peace, stability, and mutual defence cooperation in the region.
Expressing their views on the occasion, members of the Overseas Pakistani community said that the growing cooperation between Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Türkiye was a positive and encouraging development for regional peace and stability. They expressed confidence that the agreement would open new avenues for cooperation and serve mutual interests.
The Overseas Pakistani community also extended congratulations to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir of Pakistan, Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, and President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on this important development.
They paid tribute to the leadership and efforts of the leaders and expressed hope that the agreement would further strengthen strategic cooperation, mutual support, and solidarity among the brotherly countries.
Community leaders reaffirmed that Pakistanis residing in Saudi Arabia would continue to play a positive role in promoting the longstanding brotherly relations and mutual cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
