Riyadh: A prestigious and vibrant celebration marking Pakistan’s Independence Day was organized by the Youth Forum in the Saudi capital Riyadh. The event was attended by Youth Forum Patron Syed Saqib Zubair, prominent social figure Ghani Siddiqui, Youth Forum President Ibrahim Jutt, community leaders, young Pakistanis, social personalities, members of the media fraternity and a large number of residents of Riyadh.
The venue was decorated with Pakistani flags, while national songs created an atmosphere filled with patriotic spirit and enthusiasm. Participants paid tribute to the historic struggle for Pakistan’s independence, the countless sacrifices made for the creation of Pakistan, and expressed their deep love and attachment to their homeland.
Addressing the gathering, Youth Forum Patron Syed Saqib Zubair said that Pakistan is their identity, love and pride. He noted that the hearts of overseas Pakistanis always remain connected with their homeland. He said the large participation of Pakistani youth and community members in the Independence Day celebration in Riyadh demonstrated that the love for Pakistan continues to be passed from one generation to another.
He emphasized that the youth are the future of Pakistan and called upon them to come forward and serve the country and nation through education, hard work, strong character and unity. He added that the Pakistani community abroad would continue playing its role in promoting Pakistan’s positive image and further strengthening the brotherly relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
Youth Forum President Ibrahim Jutt expressed his special appreciation to the residents of Riyadh, Pakistani community members, youth and media representatives for attending the Independence Day celebration. He said the large turnout added greatly to the grandeur of the event and strengthened its patriotic spirit.
Ibrahim Jutt stated that overseas Pakistanis are ambassadors of their country and should make Pakistan proud through their character, hard work and positive conduct. He said the Youth Forum would continue its activities to provide Pakistani youth with a positive, constructive and meaningful platform.
Other speakers also addressed the gathering, expressing their love and strong attachment to Pakistan and reaffirming their commitment to the country’s progress and prosperity. Speakers paid tribute to the sacrifices made for the creation of Pakistan and emphasized that independence is a great blessing whose value and protection are a shared responsibility.
Special prayers were offered for the security, stability, progress and prosperity of Pakistan. The participants enthusiastically raised slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad”, expressing their patriotic spirit.
The Youth Forum thanked all guests and participants for their participation and reaffirmed its commitment to continuing efforts for the welfare and unity of the Pakistani community in Saudi Arabia, encouraging positive youth engagement and promoting the positive image of Pakistan.
