Riyadh-Saudi Arabia’s leading GO Telecommunications Group has announced its decision to establish a state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence (AI) Hub in Pakistan. The initiative aims to develop joint digital solutions, empower youth, and promote collaboration in emerging technologies.

The announcement was made during the recent visit of Pakistan’s Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, to Saudi Arabia. Discussions were held under the framework of Saudi Vision 2030 and Pakistan’s National AI Policy 2025.

In Riyadh, Minister Khawaja met with GO Telecommunications Group CEO, Yahya bin Saleh Al-Mansour, where both sides discussed cooperation in digital infrastructure, AI-driven innovation, human resource development, and the establishment of data centers.

Minister Khawaja emphasized that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia share deep-rooted religious, cultural, and strategic ties, which are now expanding into the realm of digital transformation and technological advancement.

According to official statements, the GO AI Hub will serve as a specialized center for artificial intelligence technologies and digital innovation, focusing on knowledge transfer, skills development, and research capacity building.

This partnership reflects the shared vision of Saudi Vision 2030 and Pakistan’s National AI Policy 2025, aiming to accelerate digital growth, foster innovation, and create new opportunities for youth.
