Riyadh, Ms. Zainab Abu Al-Samh, Managing Director of MBC Academy, MBC Talent, and MBC Studios, participated in a session on the third day of the Saudi Media Forum, held at the Investment Theater under the title:
“Women Leaders Shaping the Future: The Role of Women in Cultural Transformation”.

The session featured Princess Ameera Al-Taweel, Chairwoman of the Saudi Women Leaders Network, and Dr. Maimoonah Al-Khalil, Secretary-General of the Family Affairs Council, and was moderated by journalist Wafaa Al-Ruhailli.
The discussion highlighted the growing leadership role of Saudi women in decision-making through impactful experiences and successful models that have contributed to innovation, institutional transformation, digital development, and empowering future generations.

In her remarks, Zainab Abu Al-Samh emphasized that a balanced environment and genuine support are the cornerstones of sustainable female leadership. She stated that women’s empowerment cannot be achieved individually, but rather through partnership with men, family support, and an enabling workplace. She also noted that institutional initiatives such as women empowerment committees represent an important step toward awareness, provided they include decision-makers capable of addressing challenges and removing barriers.
She also shared her experience leading MBC Academy, which offers creative opportunities for Saudi youth, noting that female enrollment significantly exceeds that of males—reflecting the openness and opportunities enabled by Saudi Arabia’s visionary leadership.
As part of the Saudi Media Forum activities, and under the patronage of the General Commission for Audiovisual Media, Zainab Abu Al-Samh signed cooperation agreements between MBC Academy and Prince Sultan University, King Abdulaziz University, and Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, aiming to strengthen the integration between academic education and practical training, and to empower media students across the Kingdom.
